Further Skies takes place in 2008, following a pair of childhood friends adjusting to the ever-shifting world of online communication and relationships, which allows their world to become ever larger - for better and for worse. This is a story about being a young person in an online age that doesn't quite exist in the form it once did anymore. About communication, paranoia, grief, the joy of finding your people and your place, and the road to equanimity and internal harmony.

Character designs, CGs, and original images are handled by U35, who drafted the character designs for the TV anime The Aquatope on White. An authentic world of mystery depicted by Momono Zappa with transparent characters illustrated by U35 come together in this new visual novel! Additionally, the theme song is sung by Kanako Itou, who is known for her work on the theme songs for Higurashi When They Cry: Kizuna and STEINS;GATE. With its mysterious vibe and fast pace, paired with Kanako Itou’s vocals, the song is a key constructor of the game’s atmosphere.
The game's original story, involves Kazuma discovering a cursed ring that allows him to steal the underwear of others near him. He learns the only way to undo the curse would be through raising enough money. The game's "Underwear Judgment" system revolves the player controlling Kazuma in returning lost underwear to their rightful owners.
