The Tamagotchi On is a color-screened Tamagotchi, released on November 23, 2018 in Japan, and in the USA on July 28, 2019. It is the successor to the Tamagotchi m!x, having similar functions but with new features and characters, and the first color-screen Tamagotchi to be released in North America. The Fairy version was one of the first two released, it features exclusive access to Fairy Land, and therefore the only version where interacting with and marrying Fairytchi and Unipegasatchi is possible.
The Tamagotchi Smart is a virtual pet released in November 2021, celebrating the Tamagotchi franchise's 25th anniversary. Unlike previous Tamagotchi releases, it is in the style of a wearable smartwatch, akin to the Apple Watch and various other devices. The Tamagotchi Smart uses TamaSma Card, also known as Tama Smart Card, which is a memory card that can be inserted into the Tamagotchi Smart to download additional characters, items, accessories, games, wallpapers, clock faces, and food.
