Initial D - Arcade Stage 6 AA was produced by Sega in 2011. A new mode, Tag Battle, was introduced. Unike its predecessor, it was released for Sega RingEdge hardware for the first time. New cars and courses were added to the game through online updates without upgrade kits like IDAS4 1.5. The game also added a mileage system to show players their total driven mileage. Mileages could be used to redeem exclusive cars that were later available in updates.
